Wood Group PSN on target for engineers

Energy services firm Wood Group PSN is well on target in establishing a further 100 new highly skilled engineers and designers at the Heath Business and Technical Park in Cheshire, just six months after locally recruiting 150 similar posts for its Runcorn-based operation.

The company, a global leader in brownfield production services, has been hiring at the rate of four a week to boost its workforce in Runcorn to cope with increased workload.

Graham Jackson, Wood Group PSN’s North England Operations Business Manager, said: “We are expanding our network of highly skilled engineers and designers at The Heath to service growing North Sea contracts".

“The quality of the personnel we have employed locally to date has been very high. This gives us confidence that we can attract more highly skilled personnel to support our clients.”
