Do you currently have/will have job openings and want to take part in a job fair?
Please see below a letter from Graham Evans MP, Member of Parliament for Weaver Vale about the job fair he is organising.
I am writing to you today as one the many thriving businesses based here in Cheshire which makes this area such a fantastic place to live and work.
We all know how difficult it is at the moment for many people who are desperate to work, but who just don’t know where to turn to find jobs. As a former businessman myself I know how rewarding it is to help people who are willing and able, but just haven’t found the right opportunity. I also know how complicated the recruitment process can be for businesses.
As such I am currently planning a Jobs Fair, due to take place on Tuesday 17th July 2012 at Mid-Cheshire College in Northwich. I want to bring leading local employers to a one day event, bringing real job openings with them.
As a leading local employer, I write to ask if your company would be interested in signing up to this event. There will be no charge for businesses to take part. As a participating business you could expect:
* Your own promotional stand, including room to advertise vacancies
* The opportunity to meet local job seekers face to face in an informal setting
* Advertising space on our promotional leaflet, and local press coverage
* A chance to support the local community
I must stress that this is not intended as a promotional exercise for local businesses. I would ask that you only express interest in this event if you have vacancies open currently or think you may have vacancies over the coming months.
This is going to be a really beneficial event for the local community and local businesses. I hope that you will join me in helping Cheshire get back to work.
For further information, and to sign up to participate, please email me at mail@grahamevansmp.com or call my Parliamentary Office on 020 7219 7183.
