UKTI Pavilion at Chemspec Middle East - deadline 15th October 2010

UKTI are now in a position to move forward with the UK pavillion at ChemSpec Middle East, World Trade Centre, Dubai, 29 & 30 November 2010, the region's first fine and speciality chemicals event, as the Gulf region continues to develop in many industries beyond its traditional oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.

Here are just a few facts on the relevant industries in the region. 
Saudi Arabia has an end-product pharmaceutical market worth US$4 billion annually Egypt's chemical sector production is expected to be worth US$16bn by 2012 Turkey is a major production centre of generic pharmaceuticals, plastics, coatings, soaps, detergents and cosmetics Syria has an expanding chemicals market including; agrochemicals, cosmetics and personal care, dyestuffs, refining, pharma, plastics, cement and paint.

This UK pavillion offer is for UK based companies offering UK origin (or high UK added value) products and services within the fine and speciality chemical industry with the objective of meeting a Middle Eastern client base.  The deadline for completing the forms is 15th October 2010 due to forthcoming deadlines (including grant deadlines)

The stand has a capacity for a mininum of 6 companies offering UK origin products/services relevant to this show.
Based on 6 companies taking part the price per company will be £2000 + VAT. 

For eligible SMEs (new to export OR new to show, who have not yet had 6 UKTI TAP grants) then you may be eligible for a UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme grant of £1800 to put towards these costs taking your participation costs down to £200 + VAT plus travel, accommodation, insurance, subsistence.
 
NB: This project can only go ahead with the minimum of 6 companies.

The package will include:
- display via 1 x 1m wide bespoke company panel graphic along back wall of stand.
- 1 x table & 4 chairs per company
- 1 x literature rack per company
- 1 x lockable cupboard per company
- individual company profiles on show website & show catalogue as well as inclusion in UK stand brochure with Arabic translation (tbc)
- on-stand refreshments
- potential on-stand UK networking reception
- stand host to take enquiries on your behalf (with UKTI staff from Dubai, Egypt & Syria (tbc) attending)
- group promotion pre-, post and during show wherever possible via relevant media.
- access to market research / partner search prior to the show the UKTI teams in the Middle East and the Overseas Market Introduction Service (please note travel, accommodation, insurance are not included in this offer)

We have 6 x UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme exhibitor grants of £1,800 for which eligible SMEs can apply to put towards exhibition costs.
