The Times Education Supplement - STEM activities

The Times Educational Supplement (TES) will be publishing a supplement focusing on STEM in May 2011. The supplement will focus on how some schools have improved take up of STEM subjects at A-level, improved results at GCSE, what industry is doing to support this work, why industry needs more STEM-literate school leavers and graduates, and what the future looks like for STEM in schools.

The Times are keen to speak to chemical companies about the STEM outreach and resources they offer for UK schools. They are looking for information on the resources available, what programmes are on offer from the companies and any potential case studies of schools that have worked in partnership with the companies.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to reach potential primary and secondary teachers – the TES is the number one title for teachers – so this would be a great opportunity for chemical companies to promote their teaching resources, events and programmes.

The marketing opportunities available with this supplement are outlined in the attached PDF (see below), which also have information on some potential editorial topics that will be included.
