Member News - “Bucking the trend – Grimley Smith Associates”
Grimley Smith Associates (GSA) Consultant Process Engineers in North Lincolnshire have recently revamped its image with the roll out of a new brand and website. The investment clearly shows that despite the current economic downturn, GSA are continuing to thrive and grow with its expected business plan.
Michael Grimley, Business Development Director for GSA said “Following over 17 years of continuous growth GSA are pleased to have rolled out a new brand and website to clearly reflect the image of our business much more strongly. The appointment of a Marketing Co-ordinator has also proved successful for making transition run smoothly.”
Paul Lawrence who previously worked for Humber Chemical Focus and the Institution of Chemical Engineers said “I see the new GSA design to be a revamp of the existing brand, rather than a total rebranding of the organisation. We wanted to keep similar colour schemes to the old design making sure we would still be recognised as GSA. I believe the new design reflects a more technology, forward thinking feel to it – reflecting our business as innovative process engineers much more clearly.”
Starting in 1992 with two chemical engineers, GSA has grown into an organisation of 70 plus engineers with a turnover of over £5 million pa. GSA are now one of the biggest employers of Chemical Engineers in the Humber region with ambitious plans to double in size and turnover again by 2012 – building more relationships locally and internationally.
GSA have recently managed projects for Petroplus, Scott Wilson, Viridor, Centrica Storage, Drax, Veolia, Corus and RWE in the North West with a growing international client base.
