Deadline extended - Insider International Trade Awards 2011

Overseas trade is one of the fastest growing areas of focus for businesses looking at new markets and growth opportunities. Figures show that exports from the North West grew 6 per cent to almost £25bn last year with the BRIC economies driving the expansion.

With this in mind, Insider are pleased to announce the inaugural Insider International Trade Awards, which will celebrate the success of companies involved with overseas trade and those international businesses investing in the North West.

Nine awards will be given on the night. They are:

* Technology provider
* Media and creative
* Manufacturing and engineering
* Education
* Consumer and leisure
* Chemicals and pharmaceuticals
* Services
* Inward investment
* Person/team of the year

Insider need your help to ensure we find the best companies and individuals for the awards. The closing date for entries is now 12th August 2011.

If you know of, or work with, an exceptional company engaged in overseas trade, please forward the entry form so they can enter these awards. NB: These awards are only open to companies registered in the North West – Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.
