Ideal Standard Job Fair

Sadly Ideal Standard are closing their site at Middlewich with the lost of ~250 jobs.  They are holding a Job Fair on the 13th April and any companies interested in recruitment of skilled staff are welcome to attend and explore the skills on offer.

The site has employed Skilled Production Operatives, Team Leaders, Engineering/Maintenance staff working in a high value, low volume environment with a difficult and sensitive raw material. The site has achieved a zero Lost Time Incident record for the last 15 months and has won numerous safety awards including RoSPA Gold Medals.  About half the staff will leave on the 28th April, the other half on 27th May with a few staying on until end June

The Jobs Fair will be held on Wednesday 13th  April at the Ideal Standard site in Middlewich (Cledford Lane, CW10 0JW). Timings 10:00 until 14:00/15:00 (a flier covering "Marketplace Days" on 6 and 20 April and the Jobs Fair on 13 April is attached).
