Have your say on the development of the Northwest Regional Strategy 2010!
The draft version of Part 1 of the Regional Strategy has now been produced and is open for 8 week consultation.
The NW bodies closely involved in developing the strategy are determined that the Regional Strategy should be ambitious and make a substantial difference. They believe we can, we should, and indeed we must deliver real change, so that by 2030 the Northwest region is a better place to live, learn, work, visit and invest.
This Regional Strategy Part 1 consultation document is a vital step in realising that ambition. It has been produced by the NWDA and 4NW jointly, in collaboration with the Regional Strategy Advisory Group comprising of key private, public and third sector partners. Part 1 provides an overarching vision and proposes high-level strategic priorities where working together here in the NW we can maximise our opportunities and address our challenges.
A full copy and summary version of Part 1 can be viewed on the RS2010 website – www.nwregionalstrategy.com Hard copies can also be made available from the NWDA Marketing Department.
The NWDA Strategy & Planning team welcome your feedback during the consultation phase; an eight week consultation on the Part 1 High-level Strategic Framework is now taking place and closes on 26th February 2010. You are invited to share your views on Part 1. Please respond to the document and the thinking to date using the consultation website - http://consult.nwregionalstrategy.com/portal
