The Technology Strategy Board is responsible for enhancing the competitiveness of the UK and driving the government’s growth strategy through investing c£300m pa to support innovation and technology development in UK businesses. Now poised for significant opportunities and challenges, the Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills wishes to appoint a Chair and up to four Governing Board Members who can make a significant contribution to its mission.

Members
You will bring strong technology and business expertise to help shape the direction and focus of the Board. You will contribute to decisions on where the UK can best invest to position itself to benefit from the growth of global technology markets. Applications are welcome from individuals with relevant experience from any technology sector, although we are particularly interested in receiving applications from those with experience in healthcare, energy, clean technology and high-tech manufacturing
