Chemistry is right for business with free international buyers event from UK Trade and Investment

Tuesday 20th September at the Manchester Hilton Hotel.

An exciting opportunity to make business contacts around the world is happening next month for North West companies in the Chemicals Sector.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and Quartz Business Media are organising a FREE event on Tuesday 20th September at the Manchester Hilton Hotel.

Expert Chemical Trade Officers from a range of British Embassies and Consulates will be on hand to meet local companies and discuss opportunities for their products and services including commodity, fine, speciality and consumer chemicals in a range of markets.

The Chemicals industry is worth £10.2 billion to the North West economy and is vital to the region. This event gives businesses the chance to meet expert UKTI staff with on-the-ground knowledge to help them expand their business into new markets.

Trade Officers from the Middle East (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria and UAE), Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda), Brazil, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey will be offering one to one appointments to direct delegates towards the best prospects in their markets, and UKTI’s team of local International Trade Advisers will also be present to guide delegates on how to take their interest further.

Tricia Francis, Chemical Sector Adviser for UKTI North West says,

“The Chemicals sector is vital to the North West and we are justly proud of the forward thinking companies and excellent capabilities we have in this region.  We are keen to help companies make the most of their expertise by maximising their chances to export products worldwide, and this event provides an invaluable opportunity to explore world markets in a cost effective and efficient way.  We would strongly encourage people to register for the event at the earliest opportunity.”

The event will also offer the chance for businesses to discuss visiting or exhibiting at Chemspec Middle East in Dubai on 29 and 30 November 2011.
