'Generation-after-next' CBR hazard mitigation systems:  innovative approaches and underpinning science

CDE proves the value of novel, high-risk, high-potential-benefit research sourced from the broadest possible range of science and technology providers including academia and small companies, to enable the development of cost-effective capability advantage for UK Armed Forces and national security.

This CDE call for research proposals focuses on proof-of-concept and/or demonstration-of-benefit studies that have the potential to lead to generation-after-next chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) hazard mitigation (HM) systems. This could be partial demonstration of a new technology, or a theoretical or experimental approach that allows a better understanding of the phenomena that underpin HM.
