Catalyst seeks new Chairman/Woman for Board of Trustees

After six years of service Tony Bastock OBE Chairman of the Board of Trustees announced last week that the time had come for him to step down. Tony said as he made his announcement to the board: “I have had the honour to Chair our Board of Trustees since my election in January 2004, when I must admit the future looked very bleak indeed. With your support, with the tremendous efforts of Jules and the commitment of a dedicated staff, I believe that Catalyst now has a secure and sustainable future. Therefore, I feel I can now resign my position as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and leave Catalyst in safe hands. My decision is driven by pressures on my time, given my commitments as VP of Cefic and my involvement with other organisations and my concern that I will not be able to devote the time to Catalyst, which I have done in the past”

Catalyst now seeks applications from current or prospective Board members for this key voluntary position.
