Catalyst Science Discovery Centre is seeking Trustees with HR, legal or accounting expertise to build the Board's capabilities and assist the organisation's development.

Catalyst has an excellent Board, well connected in both academia and the chemical industry. However, with 24,000 visitors a year, approximately 20 staff, a shop and cafe to operate as well as the centre and museum collection to deal with (under a charitable trust structure) the Board would like to bring extra skills and knowledge to its deliberations. They are particularly interested in HR expertise in the first instance, with the introduction of the Equality Act, but legal knowledge (corporate and charitable) and accountancy expertise are also needed.

If you like the idea of joining a passionate Board that is really trying to grow an interest amongst young people and the general public in science and other STEM subjects, then please get in touch.
