Apprenticeship Age 16-17 Grant
The government has recently announced an initiative to support employers to take on a 16-17 year old apprentice.
The initiative provides an incentive of £2500 for an employer to take on a young person and is targeted particularly at SMEs although larger employers may also be able to access funding depending on demand. In order to access the grant an employer must have recruited the young person and started the Apprenticeship by 31 March 2010
