Redx Pharma was the only UK biotech business supported by the Government's Regional Growth Fund, in a major round of funding at the end of 2011. Redx Pharma was awarded £5.9 million to support a project to create an Oncology Research Centre and creating 250 bioscience jobs in Liverpool. The Centre will open in April 2012.
