MP Logistics Ltd is an Auto ID company specialising in the development of quality systems and procedures to reduce errors and non-conformances. We work with key manufacturers of label printing machinery and consumables to ensure best quality and value, supporting customers' needs to prepare for transition from the current CHIP (Chemicals Hazard Information and Packaging) to CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Hazardous Substances and Mixtures) regulations, which will implement the United Nations GHS (Globally Harmonized System) for classifying and labelling chemicals.
Labels are the key to communicating messages to customers in legislative terms and in promoting the benefits of products. The visual impact of CLP will be very apparent; current orange and black symbols will be replaced by red and black diamonds called Pictograms. With over 20 years experience in providing solutions for clients such as Dow Chemicals throughout their global operation, we understand the demands of complying with legislation and BS5609, and can convert current labels to the new GHS format. The correct marriage of face material, adhesive and ink is critical.
