In the area of accident prevention we go beyond conventional behavioural safety to address the underlying systems causes of human error in process operations.

We have developed anintegrated process called the Human Factors Workbench that enables errors to be predicted, by analysing the ways in which tasks are actually carried out.

The same tool allows incidents to be analysed to identify systems causes and develop strategies to prevent a recurrence. Our approach also solves procedures compliance problems by actively involving the workforce inidentifying the best ways to perform operational tasks.
