Sustainable Development

Sustainability is a word used in many different contexts these days. Fundamentally, to the chemistry-using businesses of this region, sustainability should be about having the best strategic business plan to ensure that your business will thrive into the future.

It’s not just about climate change. It’s not about burdening your business with more costs. It is the balance of economics, the environment, people and politics.

We appreciate when short-term survival is top of priorities, it can be onerous for businesses to research all the drivers, themes, funding schemes, opportunities and threats that sustainability encompasses, so I have attempted to bring together a selection of key resources, information and links here.  It may be longer term thinking, but it’s a hot-topic for many business-assist initiatives, so expect frequent updates and do let me know if there’s any more information that you think should be included.
