It is widely acknowledge that the chemicals industry in the North West has a rich heritage but the bright future of the regional industry is perhaps less well known. The North West has a much wider range of capabilities than any part of the UK and is on a par with the most chemistry-intensive areas of Europe – strengths that are vital to the future of the industry.

Chemicals Northwest actively communicates the economic benefits that the chemicals sector brings to the region and raises awareness of how our industry contributes to improving the quality of people’s lives. We promote good news stories about what‘s really happening in the industry and our CEO is widely recognised as a spokesperson for the industry by both the regional and national media.

Through our participation in regional and national networks, we share these messages with a wide range of stakeholders, including regional and national media, local communities, councilors and MEPs, Government, national bodies and MPs.
