The aim of the event is to make people aware of the legislation and what it means for them, but to also encourage businesses to view it positively and embrace the changes so that they can access savings as well as achieve compliance.

09:00 – 10:00 Introduction to the Waste Regulations, what they contain, they changes they will force and how ALL businesses will be affected – especially in the context of the recent Waste Review (Remsol)
10:00 – 10:30 Background to the new hazardous waste classification H13 including details of REACH, CLP and GHS (Ross Fielding, Environment Manager at Bitrez Ltd)
10:30 – 10:45 Comfort break with refreshments
10:45 – 11:15 How embracing the sustainable waste practices sought by the Waste Regulations can enhance business reputations (Amanda Jackson, MD at Tigerfish PR & Marketing)
11:15 – 11:45 Industrial case study: How adopting Waste Hierarchy decisions has helped Total Bitumen to improve its ‘green’ credentials whilst also saving money (Mike Linley, General Manager at Total Bitumen)
11:45 – 12:30 Round-up and seminar close (Remsol)
12:30 onwards Lunch in the restaurant and free networking

This will be a chargeable event, pricing structured as follows:
£65 per person + VAT.
Early bird discount available to all for bookings received and fully paid for prior to Friday 9 September, reducing the delegate rate to £55 per person.
