The Technology Strategy Board's recent funding call for collaborative R&D in resource efficiency opens with this event on Oct 3rd. The event provides a big opportunity for technology providers and academics to pitch work applicable to innovating around material security issues and is designed to facilitate consortia building for this competition.

Materials Security Special Interest Group (SIG) is funded by the Technology Strategy Board and is led by Chemistry Innovation, Environmental Sustainability and Materials Knowledge Transfer Networks. The SIG works to facilitate the adoption of new business models and encourage the formation of new supply chains capable of delivering high impact, innovative solutions to Material Security challenges.
This event aims to examine the complex challenges and opportunities faced by industry in the energy and consumer product sectors that rely on scarce natural resources to manufacture their products.
