Materials Technologies for Energy Applications

"UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), Materials UK and Materials KTN are partnering to showcase UK industrial capability, and explore potential R&D linkages in the area of advanced materials technology for energy generation, storage, transmission and conservation. We will also explore the role of advanced materials in the drive towards a low carbon economy. The event will provide a unique opportunity to develop and build business relationships with companies and investors from many countries. The focal point of the week will be a conference at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Airport on 2-3 March, consisting of presentations, discussions and Business-to-Business meetings (to be brokered). 
 
Companies and organisations supporting the conference include IOM3, Alstom, EON, RWE, Doosan Babcock Energy, NPL, TWI, ETD Ltd, NAMTEC, NAREC, Advanced Manufacturing Park (Sheffield), Cranfield University, Loughborough University.
