Introduction to CLP
Date: 22 October 2009This course is designed to introduce you to the new Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) which sets-out the new requirements for the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures. The Regulation came into force on 20 January 2009 and some requirements impact on businesses immediately whilst others come into effect in the future. The CLP Regulation implements the Globally Harmonised System for the classification and labelling of chemicals (GHS) in the EU.
