Industrial Effluents: Discharge Monitoring and Environmental Protection

14th October 2010

Middlesbrough Teaching & Learning Centre, Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, TS3 8PE

The regulatory control of discharges of industrial effluents is changing with the introduction of Environmental Permits and the extension of operator self-monitoring requirements. The morning session of this Workshop will provide an update by the Environment Agency on these regulatory requirements and an opportunity to hear and
discuss the practical ways in which discharges can be monitored. The afternoon session will focus on means to protect, monitor and assess the impact of discharges on the natural environment. The target audience is industrial operators, instrument suppliers, regulators and environmental consultants. For further details please click on the flyer below.
