Evening Awards Ceremony
02 December 2009, 19.00-21.30A prestigious event at which two awards are to be presented by SCI's Yorkshire and the Humber Group. The 'Chemistry for Industry Award' for the application of chemistry for a Sustainable Industrial Development, will be presented to Dr Yvonne Armitage, Head of Intermediates and Bioproduction Research at CIBA UK (part of BASF).
The 'R&D for Society Award' for research & development providing a potentially major benefit to society, will be presented to Prof. Richard A. Williams OBE, Professor of Mineral and Process Engineering at the University of Leeds.
