CLP and GHS - a workshop for Managers

This workshop will be of particular interest to those with overall responsibility for classification and labelling within their organisation as well as those accountable for wider product stewardship issues. The Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP) regulation is the EU implementation of the Globally Harmonised System for classification, labelling and packaging (GHS). In the rest of the world changes are in progress as the GHS is adopted.

In the EU CLP has introduced major changes to the classification and labelling of chemicals. This means that from 2010 substances should have been labelled under the new regime and from 1 June 2015 this will apply to mixtures too.
