This 2 day training course has an emphasis on simulated scenarios to practice the response to chemical transport distribution emergencies.
You need this course if you are likely to respond to a land-based transport distribution emergency involving chemicals and are required to provide rapid expert advice.
You will learn how to maintain an effective emergency response system, how to effectively contribute expert advice to emergency services to manage a chemical emergency. The course includes information on incident decision making, an awareness of the range of specialist response equipment, typical product escape situations and vehicle design elements.
You need no prior knowledge. The course is aimed at those attending an incident including emergency response team leaders, supply chain managers, distribution managers, Responsible Care managers, health and safety managers and executives.
