Calling all scientists researchers and innovators!

10 November, 8.30am-10am. Registration is from 8.30am. Liverpool Science Park, Innovation Centre 2 (ic2) 146 Brownlow Hill, Liverpool L3 5RF

Don't let a funding shortfall thwart groundbreaking advancements in human and animal health.

Wellcome Trust's Technology Transfer Division helps to bridge the gap between fundamental research and commercial application by funding applied research and development projects to a stage where they are attractive to a follow-on funder, such as venture capital firms, industry and public-private partnerships.

The Technology Transfer Division supports a wide array of projects across a spectrum of technologies and therapeutic areas; the key criterion is that the project addresses an unfilled medical need or is an enabling tool in healthcare research and development.

Find out how you could access one of Technology Transfer's scientific funds at a free must-attend event taking place at Liverpool Science Park on Wednesday 10 November 2010.

There will also be an opportunity for 1-2-1 sessions with The Wellcome Trust team after the main event.
