April Employment Workshop - Family-friendly issues
14th April, Manchester
With new rights for fathers being introduced in April 2011 we will use a DVD clip featuring our fictional HR Manager to consider the key legal and practical issues when dealing with Additional Paternity Leave and Pay, including:
eligibility, entitlement and evidence – what you need to know when handling requests;
enhanced paternity pay – can male employees in your organisation claim they are entitled to the same benefits as women on maternity leave?; and
redundancies during Additional Paternity Leave – your new obligations.
We will also update you on the latest legal position on flexible working and consider the issues to be aware of when dealing with requests to work flexibly from fathers.
This workshop is suitable for line managers who may have to handle such requests as well as HR Professionals. As always, you will be able to ask questions of our Employment Law specialists and to share experiences with others.
To book, please telephone our reservation hotline on +44 (0) 113 284 7284, fax +44 (0) 870 460 3054 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
