Professor Ryoji Noyori, President at the RIKEN Discovery Research Institute and University Professor of Nagoya University.  2001 Nobel laureate in Chemistry for development of chirally catalyzed hydrogenation reactions, his methods are used worldwide in research and industry including pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
