Industry-Academia Collaboration: Adding Value to your Business
Thursday, 15th April 2010 (15:30 – 18:00)
Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus
The Northwest has a great tradition of innovation in the manufacture and application of chemicals and chemistry for commercial opportunities ranging from healthcare to advanced materials and electronics. To support future development of this globally competitive and innovative cluster, the Northwest is actively seeking to promote knowledge transfer within the region and enhanced interaction of our world class research institutions with industry. The Knowledge Centre for Materials Chemistry provides new opportunities for this in applied materials chemistry and works closely with companies both within the region and internationally to facilitate collaborative research for the next generation of product and process innovations.
This event seeks to highlight the world-class academia that we have in the Northwest and illustrate how industry can make the most of this resource to deliver real commercial benefits. Come along if you have existing R&D queries but don’t know where to look for solutions, or are on the look-out for inspiration on how collaborations could help your business survive and thrive for the future!
