CE:87 Climate Change - Behind the Headlines

26 November 2009

As the world’s most important climate change talks fast approach, we look at an update on the science behind climate change and ask why the Copenhagen talks matter at our November Chemical Elements event. Professor Kevin Anderson, Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, will be exploring the current status of climate change science and what impacts and opportunities the Copenhagen talks in December are likely to have for industry and society. It promises to be an excellent opportunity to discuss the technical reality behind the big media headlines.

There will also be a brief introductory overview of the UK Climate Projections (UKCP09) and how your business can use the tools available to check risks to your UK sites.
