Chemicals Northwest Breakfast Networking

9th May 2012 - Heath Business Park, Runcorn (8am - 9.30am)

The main focus of these events is to “Network” with like- minded people from the Chemical Sector. Please come along and join us at this free event...you never know who you might meet and potentially do business with next! We will also feature 3 short pitches on industry related topics in addition to the networking opportunities

Simon Reid from Peel Ports will be discussing how Peel Ports and the Manchester Ship Canal are in common ownership for the first time in their history with a planned infrastructure investment of £1 billion over the next 10 years. Simon Reid has been appointed to concentrate solely on bulk liquid opportunities and the utilisation of this green corridor to try and minimise supply chain costs and carbon emissions. PR consultant, Jon Clements, and former TV news presenter, Merryn Myatt, give a foundation for communications success and will be speaking about the persuasive power of presenting and public relations: if your business is built on the strength of its reputation and relationships, your ability to present yourself and your company effectively is paramount. Bryan Davies the UKTI Chemicals Sector Specialist will also be giving a 5 minute presentation at the event.

This event is free to attend - so for anyone who is not a member of Chemicals Northwest, come along, see what we are all about and find out how membership can benefit your business.

A delegate list will be sent out the week before the event. Updates will also be sent nearer the time.
