CE:102 Waste Reduction and Re-Use

Thursday 15th September 2011 (15.30-18.00). Heath Business Park, Runcorn

INTERESTED IN: WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH THE REGULATOR? OR WHAT SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE TO REDUCE AND RE-USE POTENTIAL WASTE PRODUCTS? THEN THIS EVENT COULD HELP!

In this Chemical Element event we take a look at the waste agenda in the UK. We take a view from the Environment Agency about current issues, legislation, changes to their approach with a specific view on the Chemical Sector.

This will be followed by some industry insights from the NISP (National Industrial Symbiosis Programme) Team, who work to find solutions by bringing  together traditionally separate industries and organisations from all business sectors with the aim of improving cross industry resource efficiency and sustainability;

We will look at; what they do, some of their successes and a perspective from an industry business partner.
