Announcing the Chemicals Northwest Awards 2011-12

We are pleased to announce the Chemicals Northwest 2011-12 Awards Dinner will be taking place on 1st March 2012 at the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester. This will be the 3rd Chemicals Northwest awards dinner and we want to make it as successful as the previous two.

The Awards are open to all Chemicals Northwest Member companies and all other North West companies, organisations and institutions or sites operating independently within the North West region.  All sizes of organisation will be considered for each of the awards – deadline for entry forms has now closed.

For the first time the winner of each award category will automatically be entered into the Chemical Industries Association, annual national awards in 2012.

The Awards feature seven categories which will showcase the world-class chemical and service companies in the region and fly the flag for industry in the UK:

• Innovation – Innovative Product or Process
• Sustainability – Manufacturing Excellence or Environmental Technology
• Skills - Investor in Training/Staff Development
• Image/HSE - Corporate Social Responsibility or Responsible Care
• International Trade
• Service Business of the Year
• Manufacturing Business of the Year

Entrants are permitted to apply for more than one award, providing they meet the relevant category criteria.  

This year's prestigious Awards Dinner takes place on Thursday 1st March at the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester.

It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the continuing success of the chemical using sector in the region.  So whether you are short listed for an award, want to entertain your customers or recognise your staff achievements, the Awards Dinner provides a perfect opportunity.
